BCMV2 ERROR - There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper.

I am getting the following error when trying to share my BCM database with
other users. The Error is: "There are no more endpoints available from the
endpoint mapper". The RPC server is installed and seems to be working
correctly. My OS is Windows Server 2003 Standard w/SP1. Other users on
Windows XP w/SP2 do not have this problem.

Do anyone know how to make the sharing work on Windows Server 2003 w/SP1?

I have the same problem on the same configuration here except we do have a
Dutch version of OS and BCM.

Oops... when searching the threads there is a solution for this problem...

"You need to enable and start the Windows Firewall/ICS Service to activate
the sharing of the database then you can disable it after."

Typically this problem is due to firewalls not letting traffic through.

You could search this newsgroup for "firewall" and get some suggestions.

Hi George

Is the Windows 2003 machine a member of a domain?

Thanks!

It worked on my Windows Server 2003 Standard. But, I can not get the
firewall to install and run on my Small Business Server 2003.. I only have
one network adapter and the firewall will not install without at least 2
adapters. I don't understand why Microsoft has that feature. It just says, I
am using another device for router/firewall/DHCP (SonicWall TZ170) and as
such Windows will not use the windows firewall. What a person to do to get
BCM V2 to share on SBS?
