BE password

I have split my A03 DB to FE and BE.

Put a DB password to the BE. I was expecting a prompt for password when a
user open the FE which has its link to the protected BE. This is not
happening but the following message appear "Not a valid password".

Is there a way to provide the password to the BE when the user open the FE.

sounds like you put the password on the BE file *after* linking its' tables
to the FE file. open the FE file to the database window. delete the linked
tables, then link them again from the BE, providing the BE password when
prompted. now the BE file password is part of the linking setup in the FE,
and users can open and use the FE file without entering or even knowing the
BE password.
