Bear Traps when installing on MOSS 2007

Dominic

I have been asked by a customer to install Project Server for them on a MOSS
2007 Farm. I have done some research and found plenty of useful pointers but
I am still concerned at any potential "showstoppers" that I might encounter.

My biggest concern is around the Service Pack 2 situation, from what I have
read so far it would appear that SP2 on MOSS 2007 prevents Project Server
from being installed, is that really correct?

Can anyone provide insight in to things to watch out for?

Hi Dom,

We installed Project Server on a SP2 MOSS instance, no problem. Either way
make sure that you have sufficient backup and you will be fine :)

Hope this helps

I agree with Marc it should work fine. Just follow deployment guidance
documented on TechNet.
