Becoming a Project Expert

SpicyJay

I am returning to work after 4 years off. My background is training and I
have used and trained many Microsoft products for 10 years.
Since my certifications have now slipped I am looking to target one specific
program instead of many. Hopefully Project. I will be sitting my Project+
exam soon and will attemp to become an MCT.

I would like to train others on more advanced ways of using Project and well
as developing customised project plans.

Where do I start? What programming languages do I need to start learning?
What Microsoft certification should I start studying for?

Thanks - Jay

Project experts need to be expert at planning more than they need to learn
programming languages. Understand how to decompose work into smaller
packages and build accurate schedule models which can respond to changing
project conditions. Once you have that down you are ready to learn the
intricacies of project. If you are content to just administer the server
side, go download the Beta of Project 2007 and learn how to install and
configure it.
