BeforeDelConfirm Event in Access 2002

I have a strange problem with an Access application I've
converted from 97 to 2002. In testing, I've discovered
that the BeforeDelConfirm event for one of my forms no
longer is triggered when deleting a record. The event
triggers as it should in the 97 application. I've checked
the options in 2002 to make sure confirmation of record
changes is not turned off, but that's not the case. Has
anyone seen this behavior before? Must I now test
everything basic like this again throughout the converted
application? It's a daunting thought.
