I HATE THAT! It gets me all the time. Go to the Events tab of the
form's property page and make sure [Event Procedure] is showing in
the Before Insert and After Insert events.
Sometimes I wonder about my self, but I did have enough
brains to check that the 'Event Procedure]s were showing
and yes they are.
Any other thoughts?

Need help please. A form's BeforeInsert and AfterInsert
event procedures are not firing. Is there something I am
overlooking?
Please explain by what criteria you are determining that the events are
not firing. The simplest test is to add a MsgBox function at the top of
each event. If the MsgBox opens then the event _is_ firing and it is
simply not doing what you thought it would.
