Beginner's Question - Error Message

I am trying to get started with a new Access project and want to import
my files from Paradox databases.
I am getting an error message: "Access was not able to perform this
operation because the project is not connected to a SQL Server database."

Can anyone help get me started here?

You need to start with a new or blank Database - Not a new
Project. 'New Project' means that you will be using SQL
Server.
