Beginning of line

I have done something to Word, and now when I reach a new line my cursor will
not move to the right. After a while it blinks and gets going again, but it's
too annoying. Any help gratefully received!

How do you reach a new line?

How are you trying to move the cursor to the right?

Word should not put the insertion point past the end of the document (or
line). If you have "click and type" enabled it will, but it will also give
you very strange, hard to edit, formatting.

Thanks. It's with text that I've already written that I'm revising. It seems
to be only a feature of a particular template as I've just used a Normal
based document with no problem. I scan through the lines using my right arrow
and when it reaches a new line it gets stuck. Or I position my cursor at the
beginning of the line and it won't move (for a while - if I let it blink for
a while it lets me go again).

I've just disabled click and type, but it hasn't made a difference.

Thanks,
Jo
