Behavior of Shapes when Scaling a drawing.

Hello,

I currently use Visio 2003 for drawing UML diagrams.

When I change the Scale of a Drawing (with "Page Setup" -> "Drawing Scale"),
all shape in the drawing change their position, and become overlapped (most
of the time).

Is their a setting to prevent such a Shape behavior in Visio.

Thank you for your help.
Claude.

I assume you're scaling down, since I never see this when scaling up, where
my tests show that the spacing is being changed proportionally (as one would
expect).

However, the UML shapes exhibit some unique behavior when reducing drawing
scale (as you noted) or resizing individual objects. Remove protection from
a package or class shape and then resize it by using the grips (handles);
note that the origin point changes too. I suspect this is similar to what's
happening on drawing scale reduction. I don't know enough about UML
diagrams to say if this is by design or bug; maybe one of the other users
can help...?
