Behaviors and Insert

Although in the past I have used Behaviors and Insert successfully. Now for
some reason when I go to Format>Behaviors the Insert pull-down list in the
Task Pane appears dimmed and cannot click it.

Can anybody help?

Ronx

You must select an object in Design view (or the Design pane in Split
View) that can have behaviours applied to it, then the Insert button
should become active.

Thanks Ronx.
Is a Text String a good object? A Layer?
Well your suggestion does not work.
I rently installed Mozilla Browser, will that be causing the problem?

Andrew Murray

But does it work in Mozilla? Don't see how "default browser" has anything
to do with the problem.

Andrew you are right, it did not fix the problem i still have the problem.

This is the problem: " in the past I have used Behaviors and Insert
successfully. Now for some reason when I go to Format>Behaviors the Insert
pull-down list in
the Task Pane appears dimmed and cannot click it. "

Check your Tools Page Options Authoring settings
- make sure CSS and JavaScript are enabled

Stefan thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately java Script is checked but dimmed. Java applet is checked. CSS
1.0 is checked and CSS 2.0 is also checked.

I have done this many times in other pages of this same webpage, i don't
know why not now?
I would like to hear from you again with other suggestions. Thanks again.

Is your browser schema set for IE5 and there?
And in Tools Options unselect: Check if FP is the Default Editor
- You May also want to run a Help Detect & Repair
