Being asked for Office 2007 Student Edition product key in 2003 Ap

I have a OEM trial edition 2007 HSE on my new laptop together with a full
professional 2003 installation. I have never used (or activated) the 2007
products.

Since this weeks MSUpdate I am being asked when using Pro2003 products to
enter the 2007 product key.

This seems so confused.

Shall I try using the Pro2003 Key and hope for the best.

Any other advice on this issue.

You should have uninstalled any trial edition, together with any activation
assistant, rebooted, prior to installing your paid for version.
Uninstall the trial now, together with any activation assistant, reboot.
You may have to repair your 2003 installation

You should uninstall the Office 2007 trial version. The 2003 product key will
not work in the 2007 version. When you uninstall the 2007 trail version, you
should be getting the message tfor the product key.

I'llgive the basic removal a try. Shame that it was working all ok prior to
this weeks updates.
