Benefits of moving backend to SQL

I have a front/back end configuration for a database. There are up to 30
users, 20 or so tables, current size of backend approx 50KB. Someone
suggested migrating the tables from the back end Access database to our SQL
Server. Are there any pros/cons associated with this?
