Besides hyperlinking how do I do a drill down diagram?

I know how to use hyperlink to do a drill down diagram.
What I am looking for is a way to attach another visio diagram and or office
file and be able to double click on the icon to drill down.
I am or at least I think I am pretty sure that you used to be possible.
