Hi Folks,
I've been searching around on usenet, but haven't found a good place to
ask this question. So I'll ask it here, and if I should be posting this
somewhere else, I'd very much appreciate suggestions for other groups.
thanks in advance. so here goes:
I'm searching around for a good calendar app on XP. I currently use
Iambic Agendus for Windows Palm Desktop edition. I used to have a palm,
hence that choice. I like its flexibility, though it could be easier on
the eyes, and it does have some issues - for example, I can't restrict
the view to show just a few categories of events/tasks at a time.
I haven't used Outlook yet, as I use thunderbird for my email. I would
be open to trying outlook as a pure calendar app, but i'd rather not use
it as my email.
I tried Sunbird/Lightning recently, but was unimpressed.
In the end, I'm need to be able to highlight long-term deadlines via
restricting views to those tasks only. I need something that
integrates, tasks, contacts and a calendar. And something that will
sync to windows mobile. And, something that doesn't always need an
internet connection (read: google calendar won't do the trick, except as
a sync or tool to use when i'm not on my laptop).
Looking forward to hearing feedback on how folks solve this for
themselves. Thanks a bunch.
