Best external mic to use with OneNote for recording college lectu

I'll be using ON to record extended length lectures. I'm new to ON and need
recommendations on which/type of external mic to use for this purpose. The
lectures will probably be 1-2 hours in length, does any one have any tips on
using ON for this purpose?

Check this one out. This is the mic I have and it works perfect. I can pick
up the professor's voice clearly from a large auditorium of about 150 people.
