Best Fonts for Entourage's Fonts Preferences Settings?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I can't find it.

I'm using Entourage on a fairly new Macbook Pro, so the display's number of
pixels per inch of screen space is pretty tight. I'm finding the standard
fonts and font sizes specified in Entourage's Preferences --> Fonts to be a
bit on the small side for my tastes.

I've tried just setting larger sizes for the various fonts; however, the
results are a bit clunky (i.e., a font like Verdana just starts to look
awkward at larger sizes).

Does anyone have some recommendations for the best fonts and font sizes that
can be set in Entourage's Preferences?

have the same problem :/ my recipients get my font too large while in entourage it says 9pts
