Best Graphics Format

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best format to use
for inserting a graphic into Word? One that doesn't use a
lot of space and still maintains clear quality resolution?

I do use the Paste Special command and select the Picture
option, which has good resolution, but doesn't use a lot
of space. However, I would still like to know what other
methods are out there.

Thanks!

The best graphic type can vary based on how you're
going to present the result (on the screen, printed,
published, etc). Using Insert=>Picture from File
can generally be more reliable than some of the paste
options. This article discusses choosing a graphic

Thanks Bob for your suggestion. To clarify, we release our
documents in PDF format for either online viewing or print.
