Best image resolution for PPT?

G

Gary Anderson

Our company just bought a new high-resolution projector to use for new
business pitches and such. The PPT that we've used for years includes many
samples of work, all of which were recreated as 98ppi bitmaps for placement
into PPT. Now, with the higher resolution projector, our sample images don't
look as crisp, and our owner wants that to change. Is there anyway to take
advantage of the new technology in PPT? I've tried various different file
formats at various different resolutions, and nothing seems to help.

Hi Gary
If you are using Macromedia Fireworks set your size (in pixels), then set
the resolution to 72dpi. When you set the image size using pixels you
normally don't need to set the image resolution. However, with Fireworks
your image can look fuzzy if it's not set to screen resolution (72dpi).

Have fun
