Best Practice - Usefull Portfolio Analyzer views

Sergio

Hi,
I've been appointed as "the project server admin".
So far I've managed to get everything moving on smoothly.
I would like to set up some "project tracking views" either using Protfolio
Analyzer or Project Center for the project managers to use.
Does anybody have a set of "best practices" defined on what and how to?
I've found some on timesheet compliance at www.projectserverexperts.com.
Any other hits?
Thanks

If you have created any enterprise custom Project fields or outline codes,
you should include them in at least one Project Center view. You might also
consider adding them to each default Project Center view as well. If you
have created any enterprise custom Resource fields or outline codes, you
should include them in at least one Resource Center view. If you created
any custom enterprise Task fields or outline codes, you should include them
in at least one detailed Project view. If you created either enterprise
custom Project or Resource outline codes, you can use these in one or more
Portfolio Analyzer views.

The important principle is this: the custom Views you create anywhere in
Project Web Access should be targeted to meet your organizations reporting
needs. Hope this helps.
