Any thoughts on the best resolution at which to import line drawings
so that you get the best projected picture?

150/300 dpi ??

Thanks!

The answer is far more complex than the question.

Couple of considerations:
Will the picture be full screen, partial?
What is the projector's ability? 800x600, 1024x768
What is the computers ability? 486 or 4 GHz, 64 RAM or 2 Gig's

Lastly, look to an expert to tell you how to apply this information:
**What's all this about DPI and INCHES and RESOLUTION?

What Sonia said. Only with line art, I usually like the results better if I
overscan relative to what'd make a good scan for a photo. Try at the
recommended settings, 1.5 and 2x that, see what works best for you.

I'm dealing with line art (schematics) produced by a program (PSpice).
I can output at 150/300 dpi into a PDF, then, from Acrobat, I "Save
As" into a PNG.

I just wondered what dpi settings at each step would work best.

I guess I can run some corners and see what I like.
