I'm currently editing some Word tables that have automatic numbering -- I'm
not sure which type of numbering, but clearly not Bullets and Numbering
numbers.
These are numbers in table cells that are of essentially the same type that
would appear if the cells were for calendar dates -- i.e., incrementing
horizontally across rows.
How can I determine the type of numbering that's being used?
Also, how can I 'restart' numbering at a specific integer?
So far, the only way I've been able to do the latter is by adding numbers in
the same cell (to the left of the current integer) and then making them
'hidden.' I assume there is a better way. Also, this method doesn't work
if I need to restart at a value that is less than the integer in the current
cell.
Reples appreciated.
