Best Way to Embedd a Subform and consiquences

Dear All:

I am wondering if there is a best way to embedd a sub form and a sub sub form.

Should you work in the design view of the main form at all times or in the
case of creating a sub form and then placing a sub-sub form in the sub form.

OR should you embedd a sub-sub form in the sub-form's design view (i.e.
without the main form being present at all) and then embedd the sub form in
the main form, with the sub-sub form already present in the sub-form

Is there any difference, can I cause any problems and why?

Thanks In advance.

hi
there is no difference at all.
if you can do the work while all the forms are together, good for you. i
usually only take the measures from the parent form (how big can the sub form
be) and then work on the sub form as a stand alone, and only the final
touches are done while both of them open.

i must admit, that after many years of working with access, i experienced
more crashes while working on sub forms together with their parent forms than
when working on each seperately. but that only applies to the design proccess,
when finished, there's no difference between the 2 methods
