Best Way to Upgrade Office '97 to Office 2000 Premium?

Mike

I've got to upgrade Office 97 to Office 2000 Premium on a Windows 2000 PC.
I remember some years ago, upgrading Office 97 to Office 2000
could be tricky.

Any suggestion?

Thanks,

Mike

Put in the CD and upgrade - there are no gotchas that I can recall. Ensure
your AV is turned off and you should be good to go. Backing up your
important files is always a good idea when installing any software.

I think I remenr uninstalling Office '97 or somehting before installing
Office2K.
Could be wrong.

I notice you'a an Outlook MVP. Got an Outlookk question on another PC:
(already posted in microsoft.public.outlook)
An employee can access his Outlook 2000 Enterprise email and Contacts from
the PC in his office and the PC in his at home using VPN to connect to the
office network. However, he cannot access his Contacts from his networked
notebook he can access Outlook email from the notebook. . He could, in the
past, access Contacts from his networked notebook. How can I check the
Contacts path for
his Outlook profile? I'm thinking remove user's profile
then reload his profile

Any suggestions how tom fix this problem?
