Beta 2 download charge ($1.50) - my card type isn't listed

Dan

Hi,

I am currently running the first Beta of Micorosft Office 2007. I want to
upgrade to Beta 2, and am happy to pay the charge of $1.50, but unfortunately
my Solo card isn't listed in the drop-down menu. Only Visa, MasterCard and
American Express are.

Is there any way for me to upgrade still, or overcome this issue?

Many thanks in anticipation.

What do you mean with you are running the first beta? I'd bet that you
are already running Beta 2, and that you need the free B2TR download...
In Word, Office button menu, Word Options, Resources, About, what does it
say as version number after Word 2007 (Beta)?

What is the free B2TR download for? After 'Word 2007 (Beta)', it says
'12.0.4017.1006'.

Hi Dan,

The version you listed is Word 2007 Beta 2. The Beta 2 Technical Refresh is a Patch update to Beta 2. (There are separate patch
updates for all of the 2007 Office family products - MS Office 2007 Professional+Onenote, Business Contact Manager, Project 2007,
Sharepoint Designer 2007 etc). You can download them from the links below or http://microsoft.com/downloads and use the Office
category sorted by date and look at the September 2006 entries.

If you already have Office 2007 beta 2 products the Technical Refresh (B2TR) patch fixes bugs and extends the expiration of the
Office 2007 beta products through March 2007. (B2TR is not a complete package and cannot run by itself).
