Beta Expired!

Looks as if MS' pushing back the release of Office 2003
has resulted in the beta expiring before a retail
replacement is available. After I roll back my copy to
OfficeXP I am planning on staying with that version for a
looooooong time (I was going to buy 2003, but after te
hassle of rolling-back to the previous version I will not
be likely to do so).

Add to this the fact that MSN has decided to ABANDON its
DSL customers - I now have a very bad taste for anything
Microsoft.

The Beta 2 was set to expire November 30. The Technical Refresh was
scheduled to expire January 2004. If yours expired, it may have been Beta
1.

What is the version number from Help->About in any Office program?

Hi Ray,

The free (shipping & handling) Office 2003 Beta2
CDs expire in November.

If you've applied the Beta2 Technical Refresh Update
from http://microsoft.com/downloads it runs to
January 2004.

You can order a free (shipping & handling)
30 day free trial copy of the Office 2003 released
product suite and apps (i.e. non beta).
