BETA Outlook Beta2 Not Saving Replies With Original Message

I just selected the option "In folders other than inbox, save replies with
original message." Now, the replies I am sending don't end up anywhere! They
are just gone, so I am not saving my outgoing mail to any folder. I removed
this option and it return to saving sent messages in the folder I specified.

When I use that setting, the sent item appears in the inbox (or in the
folder from which the reply was initiated).

This is as intended, I think. If it is not doing that for you, then I would
consider it a bug.

If you search for it does the search expose it at all?

No, it was not doing that for me. This is a new install of Beta 2 on an XP
machine that was also just recently installed cleanly. It has all updates. My
mail folders are on an IMAP server, as is my "sent mail" folder which does
work if I don't have that option checked. -Noel

It should work the same for IMAP. And it does on mine as tested, except I
use the primary personal folder for sent items. But with "In folders other
than inbox, save replies with original message." checked, it works as
advertised.
