I had been running Onenote beta successfully for several weeks when suddenly
the OneNote search functionality failed.
After reading comments from others on the discussion board I uninstalled
Windows Desktop Search and did a repair of OneNote. I ran the Office
Diagnosis and it came up clean, but when I opened OneNote the search
functionality still would not function.
My next step was to Uninstall OneNote completely. OneNote uninstalled
successfully without incident. I rebooted and downloaded the OneNote beta
from the MS website. When I attempt to install it I get the error message:
“An error occurred during installation. Setup was unable to completeâ€.
Is there any way I can reinstall the Beta 2 version of OneNote?
