MacBU hasn't announced any public beta testing for Office 2008, and
hasn't generally done public beta testing for MacOffice.

If they do so, I suspect they'll announce it on mactopia.com

MacBU has announced a public beta of the new Office file format
converters, scheduled to ship soon, and extend through the release of
Office 2008. That info should also be posted on MacTopia when it's
released.
