Better text highlighter tool would make O.N. much better

These improvements would make OneNote really great:

1) Something where the mouse arrow is used to highlight text directly upon
selection of text rather than having to click each time you want to
highlight. Highlighting text is just not efficient enough.

2) More colors (that work with black text). I don't know any fellow law
students that couldn't use more highlight colors.

Please see Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0 Highlighter tool and its
properties bar: many, many colors and direct, one-step highlighting. If
OneNote had something like that it would be perfect in this critical area.

How many colors do you need, John? I see 12 colors available (admittedly
via the mouse) but even on a Tablet PC there are only four with a pen. Of
course, the pen additionally gives you access to the 12 a non-Tablet PC user
can access.

The colors available for the fonts would suffice. 6-7 is a good number for
most law students (based on experience and popular guides to law school).
As I said without elaborating much in the initial post, most of the colors
now available are too dark to be used with black text, and thus do not
provide a useful contrast. Only about 3 or 4 provide comfortable contrast.
This and the cumbersome highlighting process are the main issues I have with
the program, which is otherwise a good application.
