I suppose you could use a Note flag to designate the relevent references
and then create a Note Flags summary that collects them.

Yup - this is the way I do it :)

I know it seems kind of a kludge, but there are two tricks to make it
easier:
1) Make your bibliog. flag one of the first 9 so that you can access it by a
keystroke
2) Do a find on "Pasted from <http://" (without the quotes) to find all the
bibliog. entries you set up before you created the flag - on each note that
is found that is going to be part of your bibliog., put your new flag on the
annotation flag

Once you have done these two steps, remembering to do the flag keystroke is
the hardest part of generating your bibliog..

Thanks for the suggestions - you are right that it does seem sort of kludgey,
so maybe this is one I should suggest for a feature.

This does seem like a useful feature. So I think to make this really useful
you'd need to tell onenote what references are related to what topic, which
is why the note flag solution actually works pretty well. Can you tell me a
bit more about how you would do this? It seems like we could generate a
bibliography from all references on a page, or selection of pages, or
section, but would that be useful? Would your rule be include it in the bib.
only if it has that "Pasted from..." string in it?

That would work for me, in most cases (close enough that I could hand add
the other cases). It would be really nice to have a specialized note flag
just for bibliog. entries - then bibliog. entries could be sent to their own
summary page without all the other note flag information.

One other thing: I would want the option to run it on a section or on a
folder. The way I organize my writing, all notes related to one project or
book end up in the same section. (I have more ideas on what could be done
with this idea, but you knew that already - didn't you?)
