Big mistake....need help w/ Global Permissions

I'm resorting to trial and error to figure out how Global Permissions,
Categories and Groups work together and I changed global permissions to not
allow most functionality. I now realize that that took away functionality
for all users, not just for the users in the group from which I clicked
modify group.

I had administrator permissions on my user id, now their gone. Since I was
the administrator, how do I get these permissions back?

I'm dead in the water now...please help...

Logon to Project Server using the built-in Administrator account. This
account is immune from security missteps.
