Hi all,
I have multiple documents which all begin with a different numbering.
One document starts at number 60, another document starts at 90.
No problem.
Now I need to make one big document from all subdocuments, keeping the numbering and maintaining
the layout.
I've tried the following things, but Word keeps on following the previous numbering from the previous document.
- deattaching the template
- altering all the Word-headings by turning OFF "restart numbering after"...
- disable the Autocorrect-function, especially the styles OFF
- using the "Outline View" and inserting the document as a subdocument
- restart numbering at this point forward.
Can someone help me please or give me a hint.
Thank you in advance.
