BIG PROBLEMS using MS Project 2003!!!

Hello.

I need help!
I have installed MS Project 2003 (english) and SP2 for it (our company
is
MSDN subscriber, this disk is from MSDN).
But I can not open 90% of projects stored on our server!
(server is running under Win2003 standard, MS SQL (8.00.760) SP3
Standard).

I have configured ODBC connection to our MSSQL server where projects
stored.
When I click "open" in MS Project 2003 and try to open any project it
usually hangs!
(there is 3 bars in progressbar in status line when it hangs, I wait
more then 15 minutes and finally have to kill process from Task
Manager).
I was able to open only few projects with MS Project 2003 from our
server.

Finally I removed MS Project 2003 and installed Project 2000 - it able
to open projects without ANY PROBLEMS!...

So, what is wrong with MS Project 2003?!
Is there any hope to use MS Project 2003 in my case?
Is there any Opened-issues-lists for MS Project 2003?
What I could fix, check, look - anything to resolve this issue?
Where I could report a bug for MS Project 2003?
