bilding database for with data birds of prey

Hello,

I want to build a database with the data of my birds like weight, amount of
food given, prestations, healt ect. I have never build a database myself so
all suggestions are welcome. My language is dutch so if there is someone who
is ducht speaking more than welcome

If you have never built a database before, you have a rather steep learning
curve before you will be able to build a robust Access database. Plan to
devote a fair chunk of time...

Have you considered whether or not you could do what you want to do by using
a spreadsheet?

Have you searched for existing applications/databases that might already do
what you want?

years ago I have made and succeeded to bild someting like some tables but
where never aible to link them togeter. I them have buyed a tutorial for
acces 97. Dure to changing sircomstances I have never have the time to use
the software tutorial. So now I have the choice of reïnstal my acces 97 and
take the time to learn how to build it myself or to ask if someone else have
made something like that.

So I am stil hoping someone can help me out ;-)

Or you may want to hire someone to do so.

Don't worry too much about which version of Access you're using - the
learning curve is largely in the concepts of database normalization,
which isn't changed much from version to version.

I really don't know what training material is available in Dutch
however.

Thank you for your reply. I have a software pack in dutch for acces97 on how
to build a database but have never use it and like someone said the learning
curve is steep. I have searched the web for someting in the art of what I
need but have not find it yet. Maybe someone on this board? Otherwise I will
need to open that software pack ;-)
