Binder alternatives - help

Is there going to be a replacement for the binder shell. I work in a company that handles hundreds of large (150+) page documents regularly and urgently require an office compatible alternative

Is it me or is this problem being totally ignored by Microsoft. There is no recognition of the problems people are facing or any assistance anywhere. There must be hundreds of companies in the same boat

Failing that, can someone tell me if Office 2003 can be configured to unbind existing binders into a read-only word format?

Binder was in Office 2000 and not in either of the 2 versions released
since, so I would say pretty unlikely.

I don't know about Office 2003 "unbinding" but you could use Office 2000
to do it.

If you want read only you could convert to .pdf....
