Does anyone know how to install the binders feature into
Word 2000? I know it is not available on Office XP but I
am not sure about Office 2000.

Thanks for your help.

We can accss this feature by right-clicking on the
Desktop, selecting New from the pop-up menu, then
selecting binders from the list - as long as the feature
has been installed.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi Sandee,

Run Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel in Windows;
you want to "Change" the current set up in order to add
missing components.

Insert the CD. Navigate the "component tree", looking for
"Office" things (there are probably two categories) one is
named tools; I can't remember the name of the other, but
Binder is under one of those.

You are correct that Binder isn't part of Office XP. But
Office XP does have *support* for Binder (that must also be
explicitly installed), so that you can use Office 2000
binder on an XP machine, with XP files.
