I'm trying to sort out the clients that have a birthday next month, in order
to mail them a letter.
In the past, I have sorted through the calendar which works okay, however,
Outlook 2003 apparently allows you to sort through the contact folder as
well.
In the contacts folder, I go to "View", "Arrange By", "Current View", then
"Customize View". I then go to "Filter" and select the advanced tab.
Under "Define More Criteria" I choose the birthday field from "all contact
fields". For condition I choose "next month". Once I add to list and click
OK a few times and nothing shows - no contacts - nuttin'...
If instead of next month I choose "exists", then everybody shows. If I enter
a specific date then that works.
All I'm trying to do is a mail merge to those that have a birthday next
month. Has somebody been able to figure this one out?
Thanks!
