birthday reminder alarms go off @ 11:45PM - is there an easy way toglobally change it?

I recently started using Outlook 2007, having done aVCard import from
another product.
The VCards contained birthday information, so Outlook posted the
birthdays to the calendar.

Apparently, the default calendar for a birthday is to create an
appointment from 12AM (midnight) - 12AM on the day of the birthday
with a duration of 1 day that recurs annually.

This would all be great except that the default reminder alarm was set
to go off 15 minutes before an appointment,
and thus at 11:45PM my iPhone goes off "reminding" me of the birthday
that will start at midnight. This is NOT good ;-)

Does anyone know of a way to globally change the birthday reminder so
that this doesn't happen?
Set the start time to 10AM? or the reminder to be say 12 hours ahead -
so that at lunchtime on the day before the birthday I would get
reminded to go find a present?

THANKS!

PS: This setup may have somehow been my fault due to the way the
birthdays were imported from Vcard. I'm not blaming outlook for this,
just looking for an easy way to fix that does not require me
individually editing the "appointment" for every birthday on my
calendar ;-)

Try turning off the default reminder in Outlook before importing the file.
Tools>Options. Uncheck "Default Reminder".

Thanks Brian ... too late for me now on that option... I've made too
many updates to the data since then ... I guees I'll just have to page
through them and turn off the alarms.... fortunately I don't have THAT
MANY friends ;-)

Display your calendar in a table view, add the Reminder column to the header
line and group by that column. You can then select the birthdays and drag
them to the "Reminder: No" group to turn off all the reminders in one go.
