Birthdays on Calendar

How do I link to a friends contact list to a friends calender. I want
birthdays to appear on the friends calendar but not my main calendar.

Version of Outlook? How are you accessing your friend's calendar? Why not
simply send that person the contact record, have them save it and then have
them change one item on the details tab?

After furious head scratching, PV asked:

Assuming you mean you have two calendars, one for work and one for personal,
birthdays, whatever... when outlook creates a birthday from a contact it
will go to the main calendar - you need to drag it to the second calendar.
