Bizarre Outlook 2003 events

H

HD

My boss recently purchased Outlook 2003 and installed it
on his Windows XP Laptop.

subsequently while typing emails (it occurred once in his
calendar also) he types a few words then the machine is
seized by some unknown "force" which starts typing for
him!

This is not a joke!

The "force" produces a block of text containing
recognizable snippits from other documents mixed with
seemingly random words. All of this amounts to about 10 or
so lines of gibberish.

This has been happening for the last two days, however the
program has been functioning nominally since he installed
it two weeks ago.

He has scanned the machine several times with a current
(on-line version) of McAfee I think, but no virus was
detected.

He thought It might be related to his voice recognition
software but the text did not seem to relate to any
current or recent conversations.

If anyone can help with this or direct us to someone who
can please do so! I can provide samples in scanned form.

SOS!!!

Has he tried temporarily disabling the voice recognition software to see if
the problem goes away? It sure sounds like a voice recognition issue to
me...
