When I try to edit a Chart or Axis Title, the cursor appears in the text as
if it will accept editing, but as soon as I start typing the cursor
disappears. It reappears in the formula bar and I have to retype the entire
text. Then when I hit <enter> nothing happens until I hit <esc>, or change
focus, and the new title appears! Surely that's not the way it's supposed to
work!
At least you can edit Text-Boxes the way one would expect, but just try
moving one. If I drag it with the mouse I see a box where the box should be
moving to - OK so far. Now when I release the mouse-button, it pops back to
where it started! Now, if I hit <Esc> or change focus to another window or
element it moves to where I wanted it to go. Equally weird!
I can't see any rationale for this odd behaviour (I suspect its just sloppy
programming). How long has Office 2007 been out there? I have held off
migrating until MS ironed out most of the bugs, but I keep coming across
them. Office 2007 still isn't ready for prime-time. Any help much appreciated
