Hello all;
I'm working Word 2003 (SP 1 on WinXP) creating a document that
incorporates graphics, and I am having the following issues that I
cannot figure out how to fix. Any help would be most appreciated:
1. The document has two columns. Sometimes when I am trying to
position a graphic with the text, the paragraph will suddenly appear
to be double-spaced. If I remove the Format-Paragraph-Spacing Before
or After than the appearance goes back to normal, but then the
paragraphs are too close.
2. For one paragraph that I had put a top and bottom border in order
to call it out. At one point when I was positioning a graphic near
this paragraph, suddenly it appeared as if the entire paragraph were
underlined. The only way I could resolve this was to reposition the
graphic in a less than ideal place.
3. This one always gets me. Often when I insert or move one graphic,
suddenly another will shift dramatically (even to another page) or
disappear altogether. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how to
avoid it. It happens even on graphics which have the "move with text"
option off.
4. I had placed a series of graphics that I wanted one on top of the
other. I made a change in the text wrapping style of one (I think it
was to wrap tight) and suddenly that graphic came to the front and I
could not make it go back using the Order option with either of the
pictures. The only way I was able to resolve this was to delete and
start all over.
Thanks in advance,
Cheryl
