Black out text from a print screen

Hello,
I am wondering if there is a way to black out text from a print screen that
was pasted into Word. I found that I can draw a rectangle to cover the text
then fill it with black color, but it doesn't always line up with the text.
Is there a way that works better?

Thank you

Paste the capture screen into Paint or some other editing program, do the edits,
save as a picture format and insert into Word.

You don't mention version of Word & I'm not sure what you actually mean by
"doesn't line up", but you should be able to handle this in Word:

Make sure the pasted screen shot & the rectangle are set to some form of
text wraping (not In Line with Text)
Once you drag it close, "Nudge" the rectangle into position using Ctrl+Arrow
Select both objects & use the Group command from the Drawing Toolbar's Draw
button menu

Also, make sure the rectangle is the right size - you can Alt+Drag to avoid
the Grid increments & changing the line size can also be helpful for small
adjustments.
