Black Out Text Ocurrs When Typing

Word 2007 is producing random black-outs of portions of the screen as I am
typing in a document. I then have to scroll up and down to refresh the
screen to be able to read the text. Any idea what is causing this and how
I can fix?

That is usually the symptom of the graphics driver. Make sure it is set to
at least 16-bit colour depth. I would also recommend that you download the
latest driver for the graphics and update your computer.
