Tools>Options>E-mail Options. Change "When replying to a message" from
"Prefix each line of the original message" to some other value. You can
change the color of the vertical bar by clicking Tools>Options>Mail
Format>Fonts and choosing a different color for the "When replying and
forwarding" font.
