I use entourage for my email, contacts and calender . Email sync's because I've done it through webmail but can't do the others. Blackberry are clueless and orange, well best not said! The BlackBerry syncs with a Mac fine. You didn't mention how you're
trying to do this and with what software. BlackBerry's now ship, I
think, with RIM's own Desktop Manager. If not you can get the RIM DTM
from their website. I'm assuming you've got Entourage sync enabled
with sync services (prefs/sync and modules turned on for sync).
Entourage sync is not very reliable unless you just have one module
enabled at a time. Start with say Calendar and Tasks. When enabling
Entourage for the first write have it over-write iCal. Using the
BlackBerry DTM have it for the first sync over-write the BlackBerry
handheld. All subsequent syncs will just be syncs. This all works well
with the BlackBerry. If you want to sync your Entourage contacts, go
into Ent prefs and turn of Calendar and switch on Contacts. In this
case choose combine and then sync the handheld as above. When
switching back to Calendar and tasks this time choose combine. Always
choose combine when switching from here on in within Entourage for
sync. With the handheld you only choose overwrite on first write and
if you for some reason later need to clean up the handheld.
