Blackberry synchronisation problems

I have just installed business contact manager update for Outlook 2003 and it
is working fine except that one user who has a Blackberry hand held can no
longer synchronise with his computer - It worked fine 'out of the box' before
but now blackberry desktop manager crashes and closes when attempting to
synchronise.

Blackberry do not seem to support business contact manager with Outlook -
according to a message on their website. Can anyone help? Thanks
