Blank Cells Not Blank in Print Preview

T

Toby Reeves

Our client has 50 Windows XP PCs, all with Excel 2003. They all access one
Excel file on a central drive. The file has 13 tabs (or sheets) at the bottom
corresponding to different months and a total. There is data in each of the
sheets.

All PCs can bring up the file just fine, except for one PC. When this PC
brings up the Excel file, it is completely blank. However, they do see it in
Print Preview.

We sent the original file by email to the user to see if that helped. Then
we burned a copy of the file on CD and shipped it to the client- thinking it
might have been an internet transport issue. No effect.

That one PC can bring up other Excel files with no problems.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have this problem too. It doesn't appear to make any difference wher
the spreadsheet originated. The cell contents do appear in the functio
bar for the selected cell, and as you say the Print Preview (and Print
is fine.

I have recently installed Office 2003 SP2, Attensa RSS reader fo
Outlook and an update to Google Earth. I have a Dell Latitude D810 an
have recently upgraded to 2Gb of RAM. Does any of this match you
setup
