Blank clipart boxes

I recently had difficulty with a corrupted clipart file.
I renamed the ARTGAL50.MMC file to Artgal50.old. That
allowed me to access my clip art once again through Word.
However, now when I insert clip art from the gallery or
photos from my own files, all that appears within my MS
Word document is a blank box. I cannot edit the box or
make the pictures appears.

HELP!

Never mind - I solved it. Under "Options", "View" I
unchecked "Show picture placeholders" and the images
reappeared on my screen. Who knew?!?!
