blank document in Quick Access toolbar (Word 2007)

When I click the new document icon in the Quick Access toolbar I am presented
with a choice of Blank document or new blog post (with the full menu down the
side).

Is it possible to set this up so that it just opens a blank document?

I'm using Word 2007 (non-commercial use)

To add a command button to the Quick Access Toolbar that will create a new
document without displaying the New Document dialog box (this is what you're
seeing), do the following:

Delete the New button that you've been using from the QAT (right-click the
button and click Remove from Quick Access toolbar
Click the Microsoft Office Button
Click Word Options to display the Word Options dialog box
Click Customize
In the Choose commands from drop-down list box, select Commands Not in the
Ribbon
In the list of commands, scroll down to New (there are 3 buttons (New,
New... and New Blank Document, you had the 2nd one)
Select either the 1st or the 3rd (New or New Blank Document)
Click Add
Click OK

When you click the button, it will open a new document based on the Normal
template without opening the New Document dialog box; pressing CTRL+N will do
exactly the same thing.
